LOCATION

Rail House fulfills the latest need in office space that requires environments promoting teamwork, collaboration, and creativity. Employers want spaces that embrace natural light, indoor-outdoor space and “collaborative” work environments to lure tenants.

And, just as important, open floorplans with plenty of collaborative workspaces generally offer more density, which means businesses can fit more workers into smaller footprints and save money. Economics aside, employers are trying to make their office space a statement about the company. The Rail House will meet current needs for office space by focusing on these attributes.

THE NORTHEND EXPERIENCE

Charlotte’s North End is emerging with a variety of strong developments. A 75-acre industrial complex, known as Camp North End, is coming to life with exciting retailers. What was once a manufacturing site for Model T cars, and assembling Hercules missiles, has now been transformed into a hub for some of the city’s most innovative businesses The Brightwalk community and the Fire Department Headquarters have built upon the area’s unique residential character and industrial history.

North End is a 5.6-square-mile hip, artsy new sector north of Uptown along the North Tryon Corridor. While banking and hospitality institutions continue to serve as the economic backbone of Charlotte, new technologies, industrial sectors and emerging markets bring greater prosperity and investment to Center City. These sectors are looking to North End because it fosters an atmosphere of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Additionally, the Cross Charlotte Trail, a 26-mile trail and greenway facility, is planned to meander from the City of Pineville, through Center City and North End, connect to UNC Charlotte’s campus and terminate at the Cabarrus County line.
